Newport Chiropractic Staff
Dr. John Lorge, DC
I was born and raised in Everett, WA. I attended Yakima Valley College and University of Washington before being introduced to chiropractic. Following an automobile collision, a friend referred me to his chiropractor for my persistent neck and back pain. I went, and began to feel relief immediately. The chiropractor explained how relieving nerve pressure and putting the bones back into proper alignment can help heal the body. I sent for information from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Four months later, I was headed to Iowa! I graduated in 1980 and established my practice in Bellevue, WA. I relate well to patients who are in pain – I have been there – both from auto and sports injuries. I also enjoy the challenge of working with patients who have chronic and difficult cases. I graduated from University of Nevada, Reno in 1993. I was introduced to chiropractic when I was a young athlete, then later in my teens keeping me injury free and in top form during my ski racing career. I believed in chiropractic so much it inspired me to go to chiropractic college, where I graduated in 2001 from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. I have benefited from chiropractic. While not treating patients, I enjoy spending time with my 2 teenage daughter, and participating in outdoor activities. Learn more about my education and credentials.
